Such litigation includes class actions and individual cases throughout the country. Most of the cases in this section involve wrongful conduct of insurance companies and finance companies.

Predatory lenders target minorities, the economically disadvantaged, and the uneducated, in an effort to realize huge profits. These lenders charge borrowers higher interest rates, require credit insurance products, require exorbitant up-front fees and include pre-payment penalties. Additionally, these insurance products are grossly overpriced and essentially worthless to the consumer.

Bad faith is simply a cause of action against an insurance company that has intentionally denied the payment of a properly submitted insurance claim for no reason. Bad faith claims involve life insurance, accidental death insurance, disability insurance, automobile insurance, and cancer insurance.
