Eberhardt Civil Suit

January 7, 2002 (West Palm Beach, Florida) -- The law firm of Ricci~Leopold, P.A. , PA, has filed a civil suit on behalf of Sieni Eberhardt, personal representative of the Estate of Donald Albert Eberhardt, Jr.

On August 17, 2001, City of Riviera Beach police officer Donald Eberhardt collided with Raul Sosa's tractor-trailer, owned by CM&S Enterprises, shearing off the roof of Eberhardt's vehicle. At the time of the accident, Mr. Sosa was in the tractor's sleeper birth. He had illegally parked his tractor-trailer in the westbound travel lane of Blue Heron Boulevard near the intersection of Avenue "O" at night without any rear identification lights, completely obstructing the travel lane.

As a consequence of this tragedy, Donald Albert Eberhardt, Jr, leaves behind his wife, Sieni; daughter, Mareta; and two sons, Richard and Brendon.
