PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL—The law firm of Ricci~Leopold recently made a grant to MADD.  The funds will sponsor the upcoming MADD and Sports Car Club of America “Get In Gear Road Rally” to be held in Palm Beach County on July 23.

The road rally is designed to offer people a family-friendly event that joins teams of car and road enthusiasts to have fun, celebrate life and to bring communities together.  “Get In Gear” teams will consist of two or more people in ordinary cars, on regular roads, driving within the legal speed limit.  The challenge will be to drive in a specific time period, answer trivia-type questions and participate in fun-type activities while still bringing attention to the fact that motorists should not drive impaired.  The rally is about 40-60 miles long and will take two to four hours to complete.

The grant from Ricci~Leopold and funds raised through pledges to “Get In Gear” road rally teams will help keep roads around Palm Beach County and cities around the nation safer.

“As a firm dedicated to consumer safety, truth and justice we are happy to assist MADD in making this event a resounding success,” said attorney and Ricci~Leopold, partner, Ted Leopold.  “MADD provides educational, safety and consumer awareness programs in our community and around the nation.  We applaud, commend and make it a firm commitment to support their work in making our community a safer place to live, work and raise families in Palm Beach County,” he concluded.
