PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.- Edward M. Ricci, senior partner in the Palm Beach Gardens based law firm of Ricci~Leopold, P.A. has been appointed to The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County Board of Directors.

A consumer justice attorney, Ricci has long been recognized for his expertise in automotive crash worthiness, insurance bad faith and managed care litigation. He has been profiled in The Best Lawyers in America, Town and Country magazine and is included in Martindale-Hubbell's Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He has earned Florida Bar Board of Certification, the highest level of recognition by The Florida Bar for his competency and experience as a civil consumer justice attorney.

Ricci was awarded his law degree from Georgetown University in 1973 and his master's degree from The John Hopkins University through Ford Foundation Fellowship.

Locally, Ricci has also been a long-time member of the Palm Beach Opera and member of the Board of Directors of Hope Rural School, the only non-profit elementary school in Florida for children of farm and migrant workers.
