WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Edward M. Ricci, senior partner in the West Palm Beach based law firm of Ricci~Leopold, P.A., received the Georgetown University Law Center Paul R. Dean Alumni Award for his distinguished record of volunteer service and work in the legal profession on October 18, 2003, during Law Reunion weekend.

The Georgetown University Law Center Paul R. Dean Alumni Award was established by the University's Board of Governors nine years ago to recognize outstanding volunteer service of Law Center alumni on behalf of the University and the Alumni Association.

A consumer justice attorney, Edward Ricci has long been recognized for his expertise in automotive crash worthiness, insurance bad faith and managed care litigation. He has been profiled in Town and Country magazine and Best Lawyers in America since 1985 and is included in Martindale-Hubbell's Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.

Ricci earned his law degree from Georgetown University and his master's degree from The John Hopkins University through a Ford Fellowship grant after attending the Catholic University of America, and graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Maryland.
